LIVE on GANDA : Burberry Prorsum Womenswear A/W14

With much respect and love, we cordially invite you, our loyal readers and friends, to watch together with us, the Burberry Prorsum Womenswear Autumn/Winter 2014 show LIVE here, on our blog. Not long ago, we just had the live-streaming for the menswear collection and without doubt we have to say that we were delighted with what was shown.

I personally, had also went to their Press Walk Through event in Singapore where I met Kak Askarina from Burberry Indonesia, and my two favourites Ling and Sue from Burberry Singapore. It is always such a pleasure to be surrounded by these lovely people, as you get to learn from them and what I totally enjoyed around them was the thing we talked about wasn't merely about fashion. I mean, we all love fashion, but life is so much more than just that.

The Spring/Summer collection was already so fascinating and breath-taking that I am so eager to see what will be shown in their Autumn/Winter collection. Afterall, we all know that Christopher Bailey never fail. And as always, these would be shoot live from an iPhone 5s!

LIVE on GANDA: Burberry Autumn/Winter 2014 Menswear

It is undeniable on how fast the time flies, 2013 seems to be just yesterday and now 2014 is already here! Another year, another new experience waits ahead, and so does another new Burberry show. This time round, we are partnering with the British brand to live stream their Autumn/Winter 2014 Menswear Show which gonna be held Kensington Garden, London. It is amazing to see how Burberry decided to stay in London to showcase their new collection in order to show their enthusiasm and support towards its hometown as this show is already the fourth season of the London collection.

 It is always an honour for us to be able to partner with Burberry again. So do stay tune for the live show on Wednesday, 8th of January, 2PM UK time (9PM Indonesian time, 10PM Indonesian time)

Jolly Season's Gift Guide

It is the end of the year, again. It is unbelievable on how many things had happened this whole 2013. From me getting into Architecture School and Gracia got into her Finance school. It is also the first half of the last year of secondary school for Gladys. It is sometimes, or most of the time, unbelievable on how fast the time flies. Or maybe, I had grown older, as they said when you are older, each days passed faster and faster.

And now, with just a blink of eyes, 2013 is ready to say goodbye and we are forced to get ready to welcome 2014. I could barely believe that despite on how crazy and hectic this year had been (excuse for abandoning this blog), I managed to go through the whole first year of life as an architecture student! 

Alright, enough with all the ramblings, back to the topic of the end of year, definitely we are excited for this occasion called "Christmas". I remember a mate asked me, "Do you celebrate Christmas?" and I remember exactly how did I answer that question. I said "Christmas is a celebration that I assume, everyone on the planet Earth, despite on what religions or races, celebrate."

 It is also the occasion where we got the chance to give and receive, although to some people we could give in every occasion we want to. But alas, here is the chance and as usual, wanting to give is easy, to do it is the harder bit, but the hardest is to pick up the right present for our beloved ones.

So again, I don't want to sound bias, but this British brand, Burberry, as usual, make the whole gifting season so much easier with the range of varieties for suitable gifts for our partners, parents, boss, siblings, etc.

And I as usual, being the busybody, helped to pick up a few of things that I definitely think would be perfect to fill in those stockings hanging above the fireplaces.

Burberry Womenswear SS14 Live Streaming

It's the time of the year again, time for us to get mesmerized by the wonder Christoper Bailey made.

Tune in on Monday, the 16th of September, 9.30pm (GMT +8 Singapore Time), 8.30PM (GMT+7 Indonesian Time) and 11.30pm (GMT+10 Australia Time), and watch the Womenswear SS14 together with us here.

Exciting news is, along with the launch of the New Apple gadget, the iPhone 5s, Burberry will be using this new handsome smartphone to capture and record all the moments before and during the show.

Tom Sturridge and Sienna Miller for Burberry Autumn Winter 2013 Campaign

Love is in the air for the latest Burberry Autumn Winter 2013 Campaign. 

Featuring longstanding members of the Burberry Family, real-life couple Sienna Miller and Tom Sturridge, as a couple. Shot by the one and only Mario Testino, the photoshoot was indeed filled with lots of love and laughter.

Also featured in the campaign were the trench coats, heart print silk blouse, and of course, the new Crush Bag.

Following the launch of the Burberry Kisses, as well as the amount of heart prints from the collection, the romantic mood doesn't seem to stop there with the launch of this Ad Campaign.

Father's Day Giftguide

With Fathers' Day just around the corner, 16th of June to be exact, if some of you are too busy and do not remember, we should definitely think of something to be awarded to the man of our life. And I know, most of us are bias, most of us prioritize mom and tend to forget about dad! (Sorry Dad.. yes, our dad read our blog) But let's not forget that dad play the same role as mom too! Just with lesser nags I suppose!

Another problem beside forgetting Father's Day is not knowing what to get for Dad. Basically, all of us here always have difficulty looking for presents for guys, including gift for myself. Burberry Spring Summer 2013 ad campaign

First of all, We would love to wish everyone of you a Happy New Year 2013 and we also wish that everyone of you will have a greater year ahead!

Anyway, if you have been following my instagram (@gilbertganda) you probably would have seen the backstage image of Burberry Chief Editor, the dashing Christopher Bailey with the middle son of the Beckham clan, Romeo.

So here it is, Burberry Spring/Summer 2013 campaign featuring Romeo Beckham.

I am so in love with those metallic trench and in case you are wondering, they are now available in Burberry stores worldwide, so if you are keen on those, kindly head down to nearest Burberry stores because I am pretty sure that they will be gone in no time! They are also available in range of different metallic colours such as pinks, blue, and green. 

Retailing for SGD4695 for womens and SGD4895 for mens.

Since the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, Romeo Beckham does not just inherited the gorgeousness that runs in the family, he definitely also inherited mummy's style as he basically does not just model for Burberry, he has also been spotted carrying the Burberry S/S13 Burberry Prorsum metallic leather iPad clutch around the town.

Burberry Orchard Bag

Thank you for joining us for the Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2013 LIVE Streaming here in the blog last night.
It was the second time we hosted it and we are totally loving the new collection! Loving the metallic trenches and satin dresses. Oh and those capes!
And if you notice, Burberry always has the best choice of songs for its shows.

Although we are excited for the new collection, let us not take our attention away from this range of beauties from the Fall/Winter 2012 Collection of Burberry Prorsum,
The "Orchard" Bag.

Truth to be told, this bag first stole my attention because of its odd shape which later I found out was inspired by the classic ladies luggage. But after giving it another glance, its uniqueness stole my heart. Another great thing about these Orchard bags is that they also come in wide range of fabrics and colours.

And here comes my favourites out of the whole collection,
the Grainy Nubuck Leather Suede with Animal Heads.

This favourite of mine comes in four different shades of Fall colours which are Dark Heather, Amber, Indigo Green and Bright Khaki (L-R in the photo above)

Below is Burberry Autumn/Winter 2012 ad campaign featuring Gabriella Wilde and Roo Panes (and the not-less gorgeous Orchard Bag in Check Jacquard)

The bag is also completed with the Ornamental Animal head created using bespoke lost-wax casting, with choice of either Hound or Owl heads. I personally love the Dark Heather Suede with Hound head version. 

Did I also mention that they come in two different sizes? Smaller version(39 x 34 x 15cm) will retail for SGD3395 and Large version (50.5 x 41.5 x 17cm) for SGD3895.

Burberry announced new cast members for April as part of its dynamic ad campaign for Spring Summer 2011. In line with the Burberry heritage of discovering and nurturing emerging British talents, the April ad campaign features young actress Sophie Kennedy-Clark and actor Matthew Beard

Can you feel the breeze of colors on their collection? I am so dying for the red trench! but that plastic trench is a big NO.

FALL-WINTER 2011 MENS BURBERRY PRORSUM

It was the most anticipated of Mens Fashion Week in Milan, and the great thing was we were able to watch them "LIVE" online, and the song "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me" as the opening song did gave the feel of constrained sadness. Rains pour literally during the end of the show, which left me with a deep memory of Fall-Winter 2011 Mens Burberry Prorsum, with all the models wearing the transparent raincoats. Order for the Bags and Coats are available directly after the show.

Notice that the 2nd model almost slipped when the rain poured, and the 4th model was laughing at him. LOL!
