Piñata

I was talking with an old girlfriend of mine and she was telling me that she just found some vintage 80s Chanel bags from her mom wardrobe and after looking at those colourful bags (I was impressed as nobody in my family actually collected colourful vintage bags, most are just black bags) I immediately remembered those pairs of vintage Versace, Roccobarocco, Escada pants that we kept in the storage!

After a few hours of searching we finally found the bag of treasures and this pair of Vintage Versace jeans with Piñata prints on it was one of them!

We immediately thought of doing a 1980s kinda outfit with crop top and lots of pop colours! We also matched the outfit with lots of vintage brooches, big gold earring and of course, a Vintage Celine bag would do no wrong! Adding a little bit of gold and silver here and there including the pair of Silver lace up creepers from Charles and Keith.

Having lots of vintage items in possession is also an advantage when you suddenly have a theme party, or just feeling like doing something more retro and vintage! Like honestly, we did not even remember these vintage items exist until the chat began.. But at least now we remember that we have pants that will match the next Cinco de Mayo party!

Start It Right

As the holiday season is now over, Gladys had also gone home, but I am more excited to look forward to my trip home in two weeks time! It's a big shame that Gracia could not come with me this time round.

Anyway, here is the very first outfit post of the year which you might have seen the sneak peak from Gladys' instagram (@gladysganda) or mine (@gilbertganda).

This was the outfit she wore to the dinner before catching the flight back to Singapore and for us, comfort is the main priority when we are traveling, especially for such a long flying hours, Gladys definitely went all comfortable with her on-board outfit.

Colourful armparty from Diva and Gladys is definitely in love with her nano luggage.

Abercrombie and Fitch Blazer, Bysi top, J.W. Anderson x Topshop kilt, CÉLINE Nano Luggage Tote, Topshop Knee-high socks. And pair of worn out Converse which are not pictured.

Blue Lace

Exactly a month after the grand opening of the Trans Luxury Hotel, we managed to spare some time during our Jakarta trip to go to Bandung to try out this newly-launched six stars hotel.
Well, the hotel is amazing, let's talk about the fresh roses, lilies, peonies and orchids arrangement, the beautiful sofas and oh the very nice staircase, wish I could stay there forever.
So, the first thing I love about this hotel is that they provide unlimited ACQUA DI PARMA toiletries! That alone had stolen my heart since I always find that packing for toiletries are the most horrible thing to do since you never want them to leak all over your clothes!
So definitely no worry if you plan to stay here! It also left you with more space in your luggage!

It was my first time visiting Bandung and to my surprise, it has lots of branded stores, name some like Red Valentino, Tod's, Hugo Boss, Furla and Versace Kids is opening soon!

And yes the hotel have that nice buffet breakfast, and Bandung is just another food heaven! I am so loving the Klapper Tart!

The only thing that was not that satisfying about the hotel was the connection of wi-fi which keep on disconnecting!

Indeed, the hotel remind me a lot of the hotels where almost everyone go and play their poker games, The Venetian, although Trans doesn't have the painted sky ceiling, it is still luxurious and the staffs are amazingly friendly and helpful.
We tried the gym and spa as well! and they do a very good laundry too!
The photos were taken before we went to have our dinner on the rooftop of the hotel! The view was unbelievably breathe-taking while you watch at the night view of the city of Bandung blending together with the dark starry night! If you follow my instagram : @gilbertganda you probably can see the foods I had there!

Gracia was wearing the blue lace dress from Topshop Dress Me Up.

Sheer

It was such a lovely afternoon before I went out with family for some coffee time at the newly opened Opal Coffee. The sheer top was indeed an amazing piece with the unique cutting, and it is in the lovely hue of gray and for the pumps, they are from Rotelli, and great thing was mom got them for me during bargain but I love how they fit so perfectly to big and wide feet which usually cause me difficulties to get the perfect pair of shoes.

Have been loving the sheer materials lately, got few maxi skirts in sheer too. Can't wait to wear them!

Sheer top from Topshop, Inner white silk top and Jeans from Zara, pumps from Rotelli, Rayban Aviators.

the path you take isn't the path I gonna take

This was actually an outfit worn by Gladys last Sunday since it was Sunday, which also mean dress up day!
The stripe dress is from Zara and it turned out to be too short after a few while so stocking was a great way to work it out! And Since it was Sunday, which make the chance of meeting Daddy or Mommy's friends or whatsoever, definitely Gladys wants to look gracefully and ladylike. Paired the outfit with Gold and Black heels from Topshop which match the vintage Mini Classic Flap.
