Piñata

I was talking with an old girlfriend of mine and she was telling me that she just found some vintage 80s Chanel bags from her mom wardrobe and after looking at those colourful bags (I was impressed as nobody in my family actually collected colourful vintage bags, most are just black bags) I immediately remembered those pairs of vintage Versace, Roccobarocco, Escada pants that we kept in the storage!

After a few hours of searching we finally found the bag of treasures and this pair of Vintage Versace jeans with Piñata prints on it was one of them!

We immediately thought of doing a 1980s kinda outfit with crop top and lots of pop colours! We also matched the outfit with lots of vintage brooches, big gold earring and of course, a Vintage Celine bag would do no wrong! Adding a little bit of gold and silver here and there including the pair of Silver lace up creepers from Charles and Keith.

Having lots of vintage items in possession is also an advantage when you suddenly have a theme party, or just feeling like doing something more retro and vintage! Like honestly, we did not even remember these vintage items exist until the chat began.. But at least now we remember that we have pants that will match the next Cinco de Mayo party!

Once Upon a Time,

 Rapunzel dressed in Jenny Packham

Cinderella in Versace (and the glass slipper) and yes if you notice, there is the medusa head belt on her too! The material somehow makes the dress look tacky on the other hand.

Tiana by Ralph and Russo. Absolute favourite!

 Pocahontas in Roberto Cavalli

Snow White by Oscar de la Renta

I could still remember clearly how my mom used to read me and my little sister the story of Cinderella and the other princesses before we went to bed when we were young. The beauty of the princesses and their perfect love stories fascinated us and we grew up wishing for the life of a princess just as described on the fairy-tales, perfect hair, big gorgeous ball gowns, beautiful faces, prince charming and everything else, except the villains.

As we grow up, we accepted the fact that happily ever after does not exist. We decided to bury our dream of that perfect yet unrealistic life ever since. But this year, for Christmas, Harrods has teamed up with Disney to brought our dream to live again. The princesses are brought to life and dressed in the designer frocks such as Versace, Oscar de la Renta and Elie Saab to delight their shoppers and tourists.
And it was not all about the dresses only, it was how they set up the whole background and how they create the harmony to be able to take the whole scene out of the story books into life!

Jasmine in Escada. When I was looking through the designer sketches of the dresses that these princesses would wear, Jasmine costume questioned me if it's gonna be arabic enough but in real life, she looks amazing in this Escada red dress.
 Mulan in Missoni

Ariel by Marchesa. Ariel's Marchesa dress was somehow disappointing after comparing it to the initial sketch of the dress as the train should be longer to create a better tail effect.

Belle in Valentino ( they definitely do not forget to let her complete her whole outfit with the Rockstud heels)

Aurora in Elie Saab. Elie Saab is just perfection. Aurora looks perfect in this dress although it was not exactly the same as what it was pictured in the fairy-tale but I believe nobody, even Aurora, could say no to this piece of beauty.

Meet the Model, Dillon.

So after the Inaugural Mens' Fashion week, I managed to know some of the gorgeous who do catwalk almost everyday!

So here it is! Dillon Rosel, 21, a half Dutch half American model, who is incredibly tall, six feet three inches and traveled around the world for modelling since last January when he decided to shave off his long hair!
Double black campaign.
you can check out the video here, click on Adv, and click backstage!
His most memorable experience will be when he actually walked for Versace last year,
he said that it was his sickest experience ever.

The Versace backstage photos!
This guy loves to talk and he is indeed of the friendliest model I've met and he said the most compliment he got are mostly about his lips, but there is this girl who actually told him that she would want to make love with his hair!

anyway, MFW was not the first time I saw him. Back during the club21b + tsumori chisato event I had already spotted him walking for some of the brands!
 Acne.
 Phenomenom
Kitsune

For game addict like Guitar hero, maple stories, and halo reach, you can actually have him as ur playmate! yeah he is a hardcore game-addict!
and for those who usually hang around attica, le noir, tanjong, you will easily spot this guy!
anyway, check out his video with Razor Tv!

and he is going back to Holland or States soon, so you might not be able to see him walk for Audi Fashion week!

Birthday Wishlist!

Hey Guys,

It's Gracia here. It seems like I haven't written anything to the blog, so here I am.
as my birthday is just around the corner, so I will just list down some of the items that are in my wishlist. (great friends out there, are you listening?)

Anyway, I am size 38 for shoes, US 8, UK 5, and France 39. for rings, I am size M.

1. Versace Dvea Patent Leather platforms ( the color and height are just amazing!)
2. Christian Louboutin Open Lips 120 snakeskin pumps (how sexy could it be?)
3. Jimmy Choo Private Suede Sandals ( as seen on the gorgeous Silvia Siantar )
4. Christian Louboutin Marechale 100 satin sandals (although i know this gonna left lotsa blisters, but I just couldn't resist the cuteness of this pair)
5. Giuseppe Zanotti Patent Leather peep-toe sling-backs ( something in nude, is hardly resistible )
6. something more meow, miumiu canvas polka-dots sandals (an apple for a day, to keep the doctor away)
7. something not to be worn on the feet, and the cheapest amongst all of my wish-list, Yves Saint Laurent Arty Enamel Ring in Pink
8. Hermés j'aime mon carre scarves, with lots of designs and colors!
(I think this time round, I am allowed to expect something versatile, that I can wear them in the next ten years or more! even better that I can pass them down to my daughter and grand-daughter!) + I can wear them as scarves, headbands, bracelet or even become necklace!

So anyone, please?

With Loves,
Gracia Ganda!

*ps, give me those, and I will love you! :*
